STORY:
Just before 5PM EST, January 12, a major earthquake struck Haiti, the most impoverished country in the Western Hemisphere. The 7.0 magnitude earthquake was centered near the Haitian capital of Port au Prince and caused widespread devastation and loss of life. Most of the power was knocked out and already-low levels of medical supplies are being depleted.
Thirst No More President, Craig Miller, left for Haiti less than 24 hours after the earthquake struck. He and TNM Haitian partners delivered initial supplies 3 days after the earthquake struck. Now TNM is bringing in it's first volunteers and preparing to increase supplies on the ground this week. Our Third medical team arrived today, Feb. 4 and is already at work. We obviously could not do anything without you!
